It has been 28 years since I have made a guitar specifically for myself. I have had to satisfy myself with whichever of my guitars I could come by. I am not complaining of course, but what a treat to have the best possible guitar made specifically for my style by someone who knows me well.

I currently think this is the best guitar style to address the issues most important to me (balance/balance/balance!). I have chosen the wood combination that consistantly produces the tone I like best, and contructed it to be more vintage than modern. Adequate volume of course, but more important is the clarity of the voice, and most important, both dynamic balance and tonal balance across the pitch range and from string to string.
