SexauerGuitars
2016 Sexauer style 18 Dreadnought
"Almost Traditional D"
#2611116

This guitar was made using a set of Honduras mahogany I got from a friend who had had it for a very long time. Since his father was a wood supplier before him we can't know exactly when in came to America, but surely not before Columbus.  It is as rich a color as I have ever seen, and to my eye as beautiful as any figured Mahogany I've seen. As pretty as it is, the instruments sound quality is its greatest asset IMO.

  • Honduras Mahogany back and sides
  • Adirondack Spruce top
  • Honduras Mahogany neck
  • Amazon Rosewood binding
  • Ebony fingerboard and Amazon RW bridge
  • Greven Tortis PG
  • Schaller Grandtune Satin tuners
  • 1 3/4" nut x 2 5/16" bridgepin spacing
  • Hot Hide Glue and Oil Varnish
